Overview
The AES6102 is a high-density Layer 3 data center switch featuring 48×25Gb SFP28 ports and 8×100Gb QSFP28 uplinks, with full backward compatibility to 10Gb and 40Gb, respectively. It is engineered for large-scale data center access and aggregation, delivering flexible deployment options and high-throughput performance. Equipped with 1+1 redundant power supplies and 4+1 hot-swappable fans, the switch ensures uninterrupted business continuity and efficient thermal management through its front-to-back airflow design. With support for VXLAN, EVPN, and MLAG, the AD-S500-48VF8H enables scalable multi-tenant network architectures and seamless Layer 2/Layer 3 virtualization.
In addition to full-featured Layer 2/3 routing protocols—including OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, and MPLS—the switch supports hardware-based traffic visibility via sFlow and RSPAN, helping operators gain real-time insights into network behavior. It also features dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 routing, BFD fast detection, and rich redundancy protocols like ERPS and VRRP for maximum network stability. Designed with a robust security framework including ACLs, ARP inspection, CPU protection, and SSH/SSL encryption, the AD-S500-48VF8H is built for demanding data center environments. Its multi-interface management (CLI, Web UI, SNMP, Telnet, USB) provides flexible and secure control for enterprise and hyperscale applications.
